Education System

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering undergraduate program lasts for 5 academic years, including 1 year of English preparation and 4 years of engineering education. Students who are successful in the English proficiency exam start directly from the first year without studying the preparatory class.

In the first two years of the undergraduate program, introductory engineering, basic science and basic engineering courses are mainly given. In the next two academic years, courses in the field of Electrical-Electronics engineering and laboratory applications are predominant. Our students can choose these elective courses according to their interests and competencies. Since the courses of our department are structured with an innovative approach based on research and projects, it aims to educate students with realistic engineering and design problems.

Our undergraduate program aims to enable our students to develop in different fields of interest by providing them with the opportunity to take non-field elective courses in the humanities and social sciences.

Students who successfully complete our four-year undergraduate program are entitled to receive a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering and the title of Electrical and Electronics Engineer.
